WHO WE ARE

ILA Canada is the Canadian branch of the International Law Association founded in Brussels in 1873 and based in London, UK. ILA boasts over 3500 members. ILA-Canada serves the Canadian international law community including legal scholars, practitioners, students and policy makers by providing workshops, conferences and research on wide range of international law topics.

WHAT WE DO

ILA Canada organizes and/or sponsors a myriad of events designed to promote awareness, education and capacity building in Canada concerning various topics in international law. ILA-members also participate in activities organized by other national ILA branches around the world, including the Bi-Annual Conference for all members of the ILA.
